Galaxy Final
These particular pieces of work are very difficult. You must either take a piece of cardboard (Or a canvas) that is already black, and paint on red, blue, and sometimes pink or green. You don't want the colors to be too bright, but they also can't be too dark. So I took a fluffy brush and i patted on the paint and spread it around as much as possible (patting works best or else you might get paint streaks). The one on the bottom was my first try, and the one on the top is my most recent one. You also must take a brush with stiff bristles to flick the white paint on to make the stars. You can also take a smaller detail brush and paint on bigger, brighter stars.
This is my Think Outside the Box project. I cut out a picture of the stars from a magazine, and I drew on the dark blues, light blues, and the black with colored pencil. After i did this, I dotted some of the stars on with white acrylic paint, and some of them with white ink. I found that using white ink made the stars shinier, and easier to maintain.
